The Price & Kensington® story started at the beginning of the 19th Century, in Burslem, England, when the innovative PriceBrothers founded their earthenware
manufacturing company in Crown Works. Specialising in tabletop accessories and teapots, the brothers quickly became renowned for their distinctive designs. During their time within the local area, the brothers developed a strong working bond with Kensington Potteries, who specialised in novelty teapots. This bond grew so strong that the two companies eventually merged in 1962 to become known as Price & Kensington®.

The round teapot shape referred to as ‘Betty’ allows tea leaves to swirl freely around the pot, releasing the flavours and infusing the perfect brew. This teapot has become an English classic and is very much used as an everyday item in modern day living. Price & Kensington offers fashion led colours ranging from soft neutral hues to vivid, bright tones whilst maintaining the historical shape and functionality of the ‘Betty’ teapot with a non-drip spout.

Rich in heritage and passionate about tabletop accessories and teapots, the Price & Kensington® brand continues to flourish. While teapots remain at the heart of the product range, we also offer tabletop collections, including ‘Sweet Bee’ Collection.

The simple yet stylish ‘Sweet Bee’ Collection is sure to liven up any kitchen table, featuring a cute flying bumblebee design. The lidded items feature a hand painted bee handle and a bold yellow glaze as a striking finishing touch. We understand that for generations the kitchen is the heart of the home, which remains the fundamental inspiration for our new developments.
